Hall STEM Academy's Rachel Stewart recognized as Community Champion

Rachel Stewart, physical education specialist at Hall STEM Academy, was honored at a Minnesota Twins game earlier this month as a UnitedHealthcare Community Champion.
"Rachel is a fiercely dedicated educator who creates learning experiences for her Hall Star students throughout the year," said Hall Principal Sherill Lindsey, "and she extended that opportunity to about 150 MPS students this past summer." Rachel was nominated by one of Hall's community partners at V3 Center for her incredible work coordinating MPS Camp North Stars, which is a program funded by Hall's Achievement and Integration Plan.
The Community Champion program honors individuals who make a meaningful and lasting impact across Twins Territory. Each weekend homestand, one nominated individual is recognized for their positive contributions to community well-being, opportunity and connection.
