Winter/Spring 2025 Community Education/ALC Afterschool application

Greetings Hall Families! The Community Education and Extended Learning (ALC) Fall 2024 session will start on Wednesday, Jan. 22nd through Wednesday, May. 14th, 2025. Afterschool is held each Monday and Wednesday from 2:05PM-5:00PM. We are excited to have you back! 

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION UPDATE: Afterschool spaces are very limited in the Winter/Spring 2025 session. Families who were enrolled in the FALL 2024 session and MISSED more than seven sessions of afterschool will need to re-register for the Winter/Spring session. Families who attended more than seven sessions in the Fall 2024 DO NOT need to re-register. If you were enrolled in the Fall session and are unsure if you need to re-register, please contact Brittany at (612)298-2439.

Class Selection

We are working on securing amazing partners for our students for Winter/Spring 2025! Once all partners are secured, a notice will be sent home in January with enrolled families to choose the class they will like for their child to attend. Please know that while cost does not prevent students from participating in afterschool, we are asking that families please pay what they can to help keep our afterschool program running at Hall Stem Academy. Registration:

• Dates we have NO programming: Feb. 7th, Mar. 31st, Apr. 2nd

• Once you have registered for a class, your student will receive a confirmation letter in their backpack that will include program information. 

Transportation

• If you are a new family signing up and want a bus, please let Ms. Brittany know immediately.

• Please note that bus scheduling can take up to two weeks.

• Please make sure students have a backup plan for getting home in case of late buses or scheduling issues.

• Afterschool students who were bussed during the Fall session do not need to request another bus unless their address changes. Otherwise, bussing will be the same as in the Fall.

January 5, 2025 at Parade Ice Garden 1:15-3:00

Girls ages 4-10, come try hockey with members of the Minneapolis Girls High School Hockey and Minneapolis Storm programs. Bring skates, helmet (bike helmet works), gloves and wear warm clothes. Pizza and drinks provided. Questions:cmaciver@mplshockey.com

Hi Hall Star Families!

This is a reminder that Afterschool ends next Wednesday, Dec. 11th for our Fall session! We will resume back Wednesday, Jan. 22nd through Wednesday, May 14th, 2025! Have a Happy Winter Break!

Join us for an evening of fun with your student!

Dinner will be served and students will have the opportunity to create and wrap quality, handmade gifts for their loved ones. This event is made possible thanks to our amazing community friends at Sanctuary Covenant Church.

While students work on their creations, guardians will have an opportunity to pick out a toy for their Hall student and wrap it up to take home. This is made possible by our wonderful community friends at A Mother's Love and The Hennepin County Association of Paramedics and EMTs HCAPE

This event is for Hall STEM Academy students and their guardians. Space is limited and registration is required.
